A CoolerMaster revelou-se novamente com a introdução de um novo cooler, o KHC-V81, ou o Hyper 6, como é conhecido.

"...Is an all-new design using a tower-type configuration that is becoming the new phenomenon in heatsink design. Today we're putting the Hyper 6 through its paces, and we'll tell you if it's worth your hard-earned cooling bucks."

"Aside from the heatsink itself, the Hyper 6 kit comes with an adjustable speed cooling fan, a 3.5" bay cover and PCI bracket that give you a choice of where to mount the fan rheostat, a rather unique set of mounting hardware that allow the unit to be mounted on either an Intel P4 or Athlon 64 platform, a tube of white thermal compound, and an installation guide."

The fan supplied with the Hyper 6 is an adjustable unit, with rotational speeds ranging from 1800rpm to 3000 rpm, and noise levels from 21 dBA to 34 dBa. Cooler Master doesn't supply airflow figures for the fan, but a good estimate would be in the 20-25 cfm range at low speed, and 35-40 cfm at high speed. One thing of note about the fan is that the screw holes are countersunk, so if you decide to replace the fan with another unit, you'll also have to replace the screws as well, since they will be too short to fit all the way through a standard fan."

"The Hyper 6 supports installation on either Intel P4 or AMD K8 platforms, but if you expected the unit to come with two sets of mounting hardware, you'd be mistaken. Instead, Cooler Master engineers came up with an ingenious hybrid design that supports both platforms using the same hardware. The top bracket sports both P4 and K8 features, and the bottom bracket switches from one platform to the other by simply flipping it over."

Pareçe um sistema interessante com os heatpipes e assim .
E com uma fan a fazer intake e outra a fazer outake pode ser que tenha uma performance interessante .
Mas acho que nao bate o meu MCX-4000 .
