Afinal tem overdrive ou não?!? 9600XT

Boas ppl...

Estive a ler foruns estrangeiros e encontrei em alguns o seguinte:

O ppl diz k a 9600XT tem tb o overdrive da 9800XT...isto é verdade??

Se sim, onde está ele??

Pelo k percebi, com os drivers 4.1, aparece (não sei, não testei)...

Alguem com feedback disto?!?

PS- no ATItool, aparece isto:
(ATItool 0.0.20 ->Setting -> misc -> Show log)

eu penso ke o overdrive existe em kkr modelo XT. tanto na 9600 como na 9800. cumps

Vou checkar no hardware...

EDIT: no hardware não aparece o dito LM63 mas continua a ser super estranho a razão pela qual o atitool diz k ele existe...


It is not that easy with the RADEON 9600 XT-based products, we realize now. A number of products from companies like PowerColor or GeCube do not sport the OVERDRIVE. Apparently, there is a special chip needed to control the on-die thermal sensor of ATI’s graphics processor and report ATI CATALYST software current condition of the VPU. ATI Technologies itself suggests using LM63 controller from National Semiconductor for its RADEON 9600 XT graphics cards. If no such, or similar, controller is present, you will not be able to utilize OVERDRIVE feature.
