Nintendo doing very nicely in Blighty thank you very much.
Nintendo sold over 200,000 DS units in the UK last week breaking the current hardware sales record previously set by PSP in September 2005.
That record stood at 185,000 units, but DS has beat that two weeks running with 191,104 and then 212,584 units sold per week.
Wii has also racked up another impressive figure as the console's installed base now exceeds that of Xbox 360 despite launching a year later.
However Microsoft is likely to be happy enough due to the large attach rate the Xbox 360 has compared to the Nintendo rival.
One wonders how many Wii Nintendo could sell if the stores were actually well stocked.

Notícia interessante, que revela que o record de vendas foi atingido não pelos portentos técnológicos da Sony/Microsoft, mas sim pela original Nintendo DS. Parece que vale a pena apostar na inovação.
