The Intel X25-M 80GB Solid State Drive Review
These drives have started hitting the review circuit and reviewers are discovering all sorts of unique traits about Intel's SSD attempt. With 250MB/s reads and 70MB/s writes, the X25-M packs quite a wallop albeit with a steep price. Nathan Kirsch compares an 80GB X25-M SSD against two 300GB VelociRaptors. Both combinations cost roughly $600, a great comparison for the consumer.
