Taking the foot off the acceleration pedal, Nokia today announced a new smartphone that is based on the older Symbian^1 (S60 5th edition touch-edition) platform, the C5 (C5-03) which is set to become available this quarter in four colors - graphite black, lime green, petrol blue, aluminum grey.
The upcoming phone measures 105.8 (L) x 51 (W) x 13.8 (H) mm, weighs 93 grams, and features 3.2-inch (640 x 360) resistive touchscreen, 40MB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot, a 5 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, WLAN, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm jack.
The C5 is expected to cost €170 before taxes or operator subsidies.
